The Department of Electronic Communications of the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, offers a subsidy to connect consumers to internet services in Gigabit networks, which are deployed close to their premises. The total amount of the subsidy, for the first 12 months of connection to a Gigabit network, amounts to €120 and will be granted to individuals.

Terms and conditions:
- The subsidy is offered to individuals for a single connection to a specific postal address. In addition, the same individual can obtain a subsidy for another property that meets the criteria.
- The provision of the subsidy requires approval by the Department of Electronic Communications.
- The subsidy applies to connections with a speed of 200Mbps and above in the fiber network.
- The subsidy applies to new connections with a speed of 200Mbps and above in the fiber network and existing connections with a speed of less than 100Mbps that will be upgraded to a speed of 200Mbps and above in the fiber network.
- The total amount of the subsidy amounts to €120 for one year. The monthly amount of the subsidy amounts to €10, while for the first month of installation of the service the amount is calculated on a daily basis.
- The subsidy will be deducted from the customer’s monthly bill.
- In the case of a temporary disconnection, transfer or termination of the package, the subsidy will be terminated automatically.
